You can lose weight while enjoying all of your favorite foods — despite their caloric or nutritional content.
It’s true.
Think of it like this: there are no fattening foods, there are only fattening portions. If you can practice eating in moderation, enjoying sensible portions of your favorite high-calorie foods (including, for example, peanuts, pasta, chocolate, cheese, potato chips, and ice cream), there is no reason to eliminate them from your diet!
That’s good news, because research has shown that food restriction leads to over-consumption of the restricted foods later on. Moreover, it also creates an unhealthy relationship with food.
